“Imagination is more important than knowledge.” - Albert Einstein

Brandon J. Thornton | Brand Strategy Leader

I’m Brandon J. Thornton, a brand strategy leader, creative thinker, and lifelong student of culture. I build brands by chasing what’s possible, not what’s expected, helping organizations uncover their untapped potential and define a purpose that actually means something in the real world. Just as important, I’m committed to becoming the strongest, most grounded version of myself as a leader, always curious, honest, and constantly evolving.

I believe brands play a defining role in shaping culture today, and with that influence comes responsibility. People aren’t looking to be talked at or sold to; they want to be understood, engaged, and respected. My work is driven by uncovering human truths, solving real problems, and building authentic relationships, both with consumers and with the teams creating the work and bringing ideas to life. From first insight to final execution, I guide brands to show up with clarity, relevance, and integrity in the moments that matter most.

Over the course of my career, I’ve led strategy for some of the world’s most iconic and influential brands, spanning business, brand, communications, product, performance, and culture-led marketing. This breadth gives me a well-rounded, modern lens for tackling complex challenges with rigor, imagination, perspective and creative courage that can be as powerful as the knowledge itself.  I believe how the work gets done matters as much as the outcome, which is why I lead by listening first, asking sharper questions, trusting the process, and empowering teams to do the best work of their lives.

I’m energized by meeting new people and engaging in conversations that spark fresh ideas, new opportunities, and unexpected possibilities. Whether it’s learning together, exchanging perspectives, solving brand challenges, or building teams and culture, I believe the strongest work always starts with connection. I look forward to connecting and seeing where the conversation leads.
